Lead Operator – Sewer & Excavation Services

Wolff Underground is a family-owned company built on integrity, reliability, and hands-on expertise. We specialize in sewer and drain services, trenching, municipal and excavation projects across residential, commercial, and agricultural sites. We’re currently seeking a Lead Operator who can confidently manage daily field operations—whether working solo or with a teammate.
 

This is a flexible opportunity. We’re open to candidates with varied availability and are willing to accommodate the right person’s schedule. We are also willing to train the right person. If you’re dependable, skilled, and ready to take initiative, we’d love to connect.

• Lead and execute underground utility projects including sewer repair and replacement, trenching, and excavation
• Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Lift and move materials up to 50lbs and work in outdoor environments
• Maintain a clean, organized jobsite and uphold safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients
• Adapt to changing project needs and timelines

• Experience in underground construction, excavation, or general contracting
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on the job
• Familiarity with trenching
• Knowledge with skid steers, mini excavators and other heavy equipment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and open to learning
